Back to School Night & Annual Parent Meeting
Meet your child’s teacher, spend some time with the other parents in your child’s classroom, and attend our Annual Parent Meeting as we begin the new school year.
Dressed in costumes, we’ll play games, eat treats with our families, and participate in our very own parade around the block.
(December) – 5:00 p.m.
Join us for a bit of holiday cheer as the children sing their favorite seasonal tunes and we welcome this wonderful time of year with cookies, light appetizers, and refreshments.
Politics and Prose Book Fair
(March 25, 2017) Book Fair
Week of the Young Child
(April 24-28,2017) WOYC
A week-long celebration honoring the role we all play – at home, at school, and in the community – in building better futures for our children. Typical activities include a community service project, super student day, staff appreciation day, volunteer thank you, and parent-teacher conferences.
Parents volunteer a block of time on one Saturday in April to spruce up their child’s classroom. Volunteers will wipe down chairs, cots, and furniture, clean toys, and wash windows. If a parent is unable to attend, they may donate cleaning supplies or drinks/snacks.
Dance Recital & Preschool Graduation
(mid- June, early July)
At the conclusion of our annual 10-week summer dance session, the children entertain their parents with a sampling of what they’ve learned from our professional dance instructor over the summer. This also marks the time of year when we say goodbye to our graduating class as they head off to local elementary schools
